How did the Vatican stand up to these and other challenges? This discussion explores the role of the Vatican during World War II and reviews some of the ongoing controversies.
David Stone is a retired career member of the Senior Foreign Service, serving 35 years with the US Department of State. During his career, he and his wife served at American embassies and consulates in Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago, Yemen, Cuba, Kenya, and Jamaica. He is a member of the US Army War College, class of 2004.
