John Robinson presents “U-853"
In May 1945, German submarine U-853 attacked and sank a minor vessel off of Point Judith, Rhode Island, on the day after the German surrender. Join John Robinson as he shares a summary of the history of the submarine, and the actions involved in sinking it, which leads to the question: "Did the captain miss the surrender orders or did he ignore them?"
