    FEBRUARY 29 – MARCH 7, 2008
San Diego • Los Angeles • Waikiki • Honolulu

December 7, 1941 - “A date that will live in infamy.” Words and a date remembered as the defining moment in history that prompted the United States to declare war on Japan. The next day, the U.S. officially entered into World War II. The surprise attack on Pearl Harbor lasted a brief 90 minutes but inflicted immeasurable damage. 2,403 Americans died that day nearly half of the American fatalities – 1,102 men – were caused by the explosion and sinking of the USS Arizona. The Pearl Harbor attack galvanized a divided nation into action. Overnight, Americans united against Japan.

Our journey delivers us to the very sites that set a new standard of American ideology. You will visit the significant sites leading up to this horrific day in American history. Visiting the battleship memorials of the USS Arizona and the site of the surrender aboard the USS Missouri, you will walk in the footsteps of the brave soldiers who gave their lives for our freedom. Our veteran guides will
give us their eye witness accounts of history in the making.

You will be accompanied by our staff experts and Pearl Harbor veterans whose in-depth knowledge of the historic events that occurred will bring history to life. They will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the places that you will visit. Making this truly a trip of a lifetime.
