in becoming a Charter Member of The National World War
II Museum. By joining today, you are doing your part to
ensure that we can tell the whole American story in WWII
from beginning to end.
The Museum’s expansion will build on our current 70,000
square foot state-of-the-art facility, and will include
a “Center for the Study of the American Spirit”, which
will provide a premier archival and research library of
books, diaries, oral histories, and other records from
WWII. We are also developing plans to add new exhibits
on the “forgotten” theaters of WWII, including North Africa,
Sicily and Italy, China-Burma-India, and the Japanese
invasion of the Aleutian Islands.
This is a huge undertaking, but the sheer size and scope
of WWII demands that we continue to build our museum into
a place that tells the stories of all the men and women
that fought and won the largest war of all time. Your
support as a Charter Member is critical in making this
happen.
