A Night at the USO – The classic images of period photographs are part of the collective memory of WWII.
An event with this theme features signature elements such as big band music, swing style, lindy hoppers, uniformed Red Cross girls and USO inspired talent interacting with your guests.
A grand archway of red, white and blue balloons welcomes guests. Crimson red and indigo linens wash over table with votives setting off the tones with just the right glow. Tunes fill the air with crooner’s delights and the dance floor awaits the guests to join in. Experience the culture of the greatest generation in a setting completely dedicated to them. Classic New Orleans or All American
fare can be served up with flair.
A signature drink can be customized and featured for the evening. A martini bar is always a hit and as a special tribute to our Russian allies we’ll pour Dirty Martinis, Cosmos, Appletinis and Chocolate martinis. Whether you need a reception style event or a seated feast this theme can be modified for either type.
The Louisiana Memorial Pavilion and the Special Exhibits Gallery work well to adapt this style of event. The Malcolm Forbes Theater can be the site for a cozy torch song duo and intimate VIP section. Turnkey services
are available. An Event Specialist will be on site for duration of
your event.
The extensive exhibits are open exclusively for
your guests to explore. Internal and External Security provided.Technical assistance can be arranged when needed. In house items are used in every instance to reduce expenses. Please contact our event specialists for a customized proposal and Museum availability.
