Beyond The Call of Duty: The Medal of Honor in World War II
On Display: November, 2006 - January, 2007

Location:
Discovery Hall Special Exhibits Gallery
The soul of the Greatest Generation and the most important weapon in the Arsenal for Democracy was the American Spirit. Time and again Americans were called on to do the impossible. In its new exhibit "Beyond the Call of Duty" America's World War II Museum will examine the stories of those individuals who were presented the Medal of Honor in WWII. Their actions are exemplary of the American Spirit in action. The exhibit will include personal accounts, interactive exhibits, photographs and artifacts related to these individuals.

Presented in cooperation with, and with some resources provided by, the Congressional Medal of Honor Foundation.
