Make Your Own Higgins Boat

Andrew Higgins and his thousands of employees at Higgins Industries in New Orleans and southeastern Louisiana built more that 12,000 LCVPs (Landing Craft Vehicle, Personnel)—or Higgins boats—during WWII (see Higgins Boat Fact Sheet). These boats helped win the war for the United States and our Allies.

Now you can build a Higgins boat of your own.

Click here to print out your Higgins boat template.
For best results, use a piece of 8½ X 11 card stock (a regular piece of paper will also work).
