Congratulations to the Benjamin Franklin High School team for winning the 2009 High School Quiz Bowl.
On April 24 teams from Ben Franklin High School and St. Paul's School squared off in the final of the 2009 High School Quiz Bowl. With a score of 620 Ben Franklin's team members Charlie Bornstein, Jacques Collet-Dofney, and Frank Xiong emerged as the winners with St. Paul's School team members Jared Coe, Ryan Wilson, and Luke Bissel as the runner-ups. The Mandeville High School team consisting of Marjorie Bateman, Lane Lore, and Breard Snellings finished third.
Congratulations to all our schools who competed, and we look forward to seeing you again in 2010!

Since 2005, The National WWII Museum has hosted an annual High School WWII Quiz Bowl each spring. Teams from schools across Southeast Louisiana and as far away as Alabama have competed in this fun and educational event.
In 2008, the Museum teamed up with Cox Communications to televise the event, adding a live Championship Round for the top two teams. Those programs (see clips below) were nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of educational programming.
The Museum is pleased to be partnering again with Cox for the 2009 WWII Quiz Bowl.
