Chef John Besh, who is known for his playful twists on classic dishes, has planned a homey but imaginative menu representative of World War II-era America, with an understandably Southern bent. In all his work, his restaurants, his life, John Besh has a passion for preserving the cultural heritage of Louisiana, and reviving all that is best of our country’s culinary history. At The American Sector, his patriotism goes a step further: it honors The Greatest Generation with the food of its own golden age.

Free Parking is available to restaurant patrons on our Magazine Street parking lot, between Poeyfarre and Andrew Higgins. While Magazine Street is under renovation, the lot can be accessed from Poeyfarre via Annunciation. Click Here to view map.
