5th&6th 60th Anniversary Commemoration Weekend
Information - Public Invited! |
 |

On
June 5 – 6, 2004, The National
D-Day Museum will commemorate the
60th Anniversary of the Allied Invasion
of Normandy, one of the most pivotal
events of the 20th Century. Help
us honor these veterans and their
fallen comrades in one of the last
large scale tributes to World War
II and the Greatest Generation.
|
The weekend
events will range from invasion briefings
and weather situations to rock climbing
and Home Front activities for the kids.
In a special Sunrise Service Sunday
morning we will pause in remembrance
of those who did not make it back home
to enjoy the victory they helped win.
This weekend also marks the Museum’s
4th Anniversary. We will mark the occasion
with a presentation of our dramatic
expansion plans. Come and see our new
properties and grounds where we will
build the Nation’s most comprehensive,
grand-scale tribute to the American
Spirit and all theaters and services
of World War II.
