FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL AIDE TO PRESIDENT REAGAN OLIVER L. NORTH VISITED MUSEUM


NEW ORLEANS – (Dec 07, 2004) - The National D-Day Museum hosted author
Lt. Col. Oliver North to discuss his work, greet the public and sign copies of his latest book in the Museum’s Louisiana Memorial Pavilion on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, the 63rd anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

As a National Security Council aide under the Reagan Administration, Oliver North was involved in planning the rescue of 804 medical students on the island of Grenada and the capture of the hijackers of the cruise ship "Achille Lauro". North is a combat-decorated Marine, founder of a small business, inventor who holds three U.S. patents, syndicated columnist and former candidate for the United States Senate. North also serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Freedom Alliance, the conservative public policy organization he founded in 1990.
